"Steve White Painting the World with Music" won Best Feature Documentary Film on Sunday, April 3rd at the San Diego Film Awards show at the Music Box in San Diego. It was a full house and was a classy affair thanks to Jodi Cilley of the San Diego Film Consortium who made it all come together.

Steve White Festival a day closer and another update

March 5, 2015

Yesterday was quite a day of promotion. Man, there's a lot of different social media, blog, press, youtube, google plus, website stuff to do. We had a slight hiccup when we cancelled the festival altogether but we were only trying to add an event on Facebook and it glitched when it didnt send out to all our friends. Lesson learned.

WE ARE ON FOR MARCH 15TH. THE FESTIVAL WILL HAPPEN!!!

And even the weather looks to be cooperating as the forecast is for 70 degrees.

Due to the unstoppable dedication and work of Rachelle Danto the lineup is

completely full. We are so grateful for her help. She is our emcee and she plays a mean harmonica and smokin' keyboard. We are also thankful to Yael Gmach and Jim Babwe for helping her out on stage as well during the festival at the Seaside Bazaar.

Looks like our dear friend Semisi will be opening the festival.

Hi to all.
It's that time of year again. Our upcoming 2015 Steve White Festival is in the planning stages. My documentary Steve White Painting the World with Music will be closing the festival at the beautiful Encinitas Library with the ocean view. Its still free to all. It will be shown at 8p.m. Blu Ray and regular dvd  copies will be available for sale on a limited basis.

The festival will be running in two venues this year. Seaside Bazaar and Encinitas Library. All the info is on the above poster. Any questions about the festival please contact us. Though the event is free we really appreciate your donations.  Come stroll the bazaar with its of myriad of interesting items for sale and mosey into our festival where booths of art will be on display and available for purchase. Steve's CD's, prints of his paintings, hats and t'shirts will be selling like hotcakes.

We are still seeking talent to perform on the Seaside Bazaar stage running from 11am to 4 pm. If you want to play music, read poetry, or wow us with your talent our dear friend Rachelle Danto is in charge of talent. Please contact her at rdanto118@yahoo.com.

By 5:30 pm the doors will be open to the public at the Encinitas Library with "Steve's Friends" opening the night. They will be regaling us with stories about Steve and playing his songs. Following this a very talented local band from Carlsbad, "Trouble in the Wind" will be playing their music.

Hoping for wonderful weather and a huge turnout to our annual event.

Thanks so much,

Clint Burkett
